Following the calculations, input the data into the application to obtain instantaneous relevant information generated by our tool to assist in designing your ventilation system within building code specifications.

The Roof Attic Vent Calculator provides:

• All regulatory requirements specific to your attic space dimensions within the 1/300-1/150 range
• The quantity of exhaust vents or linear footage of ridge vent necessary for compliance and optimal functioning, with the option to capture this data via screenshot and print (note: a printer-friendly white background is utilized)
• An assessment of whether your current ventilation setup adheres to code standards
• Details on adjustments needed to bring your system into accordance with codes
• The quantities (in pieces or linear feet) of various products (such as RVO-38, AF-50, multiple ridge vents, birdholes, soffit vents, roof top intake strip vents) required to achieve balance between Intake Net Free Area and Exhaust Net Free Area, including alerts on system functionality
• An interactive feature allowing roofers or users to input existing vent counts and receive notifications on compliance with building codes and satisfactory Intake net free area levels through a "work backwards" approach
• A segment dedicated to modified ventilation systems, "New Total NFA," verifying if additional Intake NFA meets code requirements and supplying the necessary products and quantities for a functional system
